App privacy policy.

Published October 23, 2026 · Dadsthatcode LLC · Pre-release draft

Pre-launch notice: CORDKIN TV has not launched publicly. This document describes the planned categories of data and intended practices based on the current development architecture. We will verify and update it against the production app, SDKs, partners, and retention controls before launch. It is separate from the Dadsthatcode website privacy notice.

1. Who operates the service

CORDKIN TV is being developed and will be operated by Dadsthatcode LLC, a Georgia, United States limited liability company. For privacy questions or rights requests, email [email protected].

2. Information the service is designed to process

Depending on the features you use, the planned service may process the following information:

We will finalize which categories are actually collected, whether any are optional, and whether particular features are device-only before launch. Do not send provider passwords, access tokens, or payment-card numbers by support email.

3. Why this information may be used

Our intended purposes are to authenticate users, connect to user-selected or configured sources, present available catalogs and guides, create and play user-directed recordings, manage limits and subscriptions, protect accounts, troubleshoot failures, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not intend to use a user's recordings as our own entertainment catalog or offer public redistribution of those recordings.

4. Recordings and other user-selected content

When a recording feature is enabled, CORDKIN TV may capture, process, store, and deliver recording files through its cloud infrastructure at the direction of an authorized account holder. Recording metadata and files are expected to be associated with account access controls. Some qualifying jobs may use one underlying media capture for multiple separately authorized account holders using the same source/provider account and compatible recording parameters; such access remains subject to account authorization checks.

Your control of a recording within the service does not grant copyright ownership of the underlying television program or establish permission to record it. Please review the separate Recording Responsibility terms.

5. Connected IPTV providers and third-party information

To perform requested playback or recording functions, CORDKIN TV may transmit connection requests, source identifiers, and necessary authentication information to the provider or endpoint associated with your source. That provider may independently record connection details and enforce its own terms. Program guides, artwork, and other metadata may also come from third parties or configured service integrations. Their availability does not mean CORDKIN TV owns, licenses, or guarantees the underlying programming.

6. Service providers and sharing

The planned architecture uses cloud hosting, media delivery, and databases (including AWS services), and the company's website uses Cloudflare. Applicable app stores, billing platforms, identity providers, technical support services, and connected IPTV/content sources may process information as needed for the relevant feature. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid rights claims, or to protect service security.

We do not plan to sell personal information or make private recordings publicly searchable. We will update this statement if the final production implementation differs. The privacy practices of independent source providers and third-party websites are governed by their own terms.

7. Security

The service is being designed with authenticated access, restricted recording delivery, protected provider-credential handling, and encrypted storage or transport where configured. No system is entirely risk-free. The final production security configuration will be reviewed before launch; this pre-release description is not a guarantee of perfect security.

8. Retention and account deletion

Account details, recording files, schedules, technical records, and payment-entitlement information may be retained while needed to operate the service, honor user settings, secure the platform, resolve disputes, or comply with legal requirements. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or security logs. Exact production retention periods and deletion behavior are not finalized and must be documented before launch.

For available requests, contact [email protected] or consult the account deletion page. We may need to verify account ownership without requesting your password. Before public release, we plan to provide the in-app and external deletion paths required for supported platforms.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and product capabilities, you may be entitled to access, correct, export, or request deletion of information associated with your account. You may also disconnect a source or request revocation of a stored provider reference. Contact us using the email above. We will assess requests according to applicable law and the operational capabilities in place at that time.

10. Children

The planned CORDKIN TV account and subscription service is not directed to children under 13. We will review age eligibility, parental controls, and platform requirements before release. If you believe personal information about a child has been provided improperly, contact us so we can review the request.

11. Updates and regional processing

Cloud and support processing may occur in the United States or other locations used by relevant service providers. We will publish an updated notice whenever the production data flows or applicable requirements materially change, including before the public app launches. The date above indicates this pre-release publication, not the start of commercial service.
